THE VII FRAMEWORK PROGRAMME OF RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT:
OPPORTUNITIES FOR SCI-TECH COOPERATION BETWEEN THE EUROPEAN UNION AND CENTRAL AMERICA. CENTRAL AMERICAN SEMINAR
Last year
the VII FP (2007-2013) started up to be implemented. This implies a major move
from the UE to consolidate worldwide in Science and Technology. Its budget
ascends to € 20.521 million, triplicating the amount of the VI FP (2002-2006),
of € 16.279. All of its programs are opened to the participation of third,
non-european countries. This programme
represents a great chance for research and technological development in Central
America; and a challenge as well, for Central American Universities: The VII FP
opportunities are all opened to higher education centres, research institutions
and companies of Latin America and the Caribbean.
The
objective of the Seminar: To introduce the characteristics of the UE's VII FP
